Wed May 22, 2013
Edgar...you really believe US citizens partion into repulbicans and liberals :) The 80+ % of us in between have to put up with the 20 % arguing about each other. This is political thearte, critical thinking (fact based) will question each side and not allign according to party affilation.

that wacky god...first he brings the tornado through...then "...God puts his hand out and covered both of them". But we all believe in something I guess. as they say in the south....bless his heart :)
Unhappy Italian climbs onto dome of St Peter's in protest — again

Should have had a clearer message...hard to turn such a message into actions. But nice job on the climbing part. !

Big Brother may not be watching, but your employer probably is
Thu May 16, 2013
Yeah, but a lot of it is so what to most people. I'm typing this at work, so what is my employers attitude. gov't watching, if their interested...if people think they want to spend trillions actually watching everyone, they are living in the land of paranoia. A concern, but not much to me.
Ghost town comes up for air after 25 years under water
Fri May 10, 2013
Don't be a victim....bet family and friends just tell you to be quiet...so you have to post where people can't avoid the drivel. Get a real hobby dude. Whining isn't a hobby, it's a character flaw. I recommend metal detecting...got to this town, a whole new group of people that haven't heard your ra …
San Francisco surrenders in fight over cell-phone warnings
Wed May 8, 2013
seventoseven...bull. Unless "they" means you or the family pinned it to cell use. While it is understable people want someone to blame, there is no way that an informed, competent "they" could pin cell phone use to cancer.
Mom's work is never done – and now it's worth less, too
Mon May 6, 2013
disgusted. lighten up, no one makes women, or men get married...it is a choice. No one makes women and men have children, it is a choice. At least you get tax deductions, and have single people to spread the cost of education across....life is pretty good. We've become a nation of whinners.

Pregnancy bias is alive and well in America
No
Poorly stated, but a point well taken with me. And they should have titled the article as Discrimination, not bias (since bias is not a bad word, and that is not what they meant). Discrimination is against the law...some bias...well that is life. Best move past it. There is a bias that exists for s …
I agree that it is more prevalent outside of corporations (where I work)...I have see the opposite (many accomodations).
Do you worry about artificial dyes in food?
No, I don't worry about it
I see no great purpose for the food dyes, and likely don't have many in my diet. yet I also (darn science and risk assessment background) think we worry about insignificant risks too much. I would call this insignificant risk.
I "worry" about perhaps the top 20 risk factors in my life. Food dyes are so far down in my risk ranking you couldn't even find the entry
